Located at 133 West Jefferson, Effingham, Illinois, Effingham State Bank was established by four professionals as the private bank of Eversman, Wood and Engbring. Since opening day, September 1, 1881, Effingham State Bank has endeavored to serve the best interests of the community. Our existing two-story brick building was erected in 1883 after the land was purchased for $550.
